Lufthansa Resource Technical Training will be fully operational in our new, state-of-the-art training centre at Cotswold Airport from Monday, 21st of June.
The new facility contains an integral training hangar with 2 fully operational helicopters, a fully operational airliner and a variety of other training aids for on-aircraft practical training. Also included in the facility are avionics, composite and sheet metal workshops with integral classrooms and 5 separate theory classrooms all with the latest SmartBoard projection systems.
Cotswold Airport, formerly known as Kemble Airfield, is located 8 miles south of Cirencester, Gloucestershire, and has excellent road access from both the M4 and M5 motorways as well as direct train links to London via Kemble train station which is only 2 miles away. The airport is 1.5hrs from London Heathrow and Birmingham Airport and 45min from Bristol International. Cotswold Airport is an active and vibrant airfield with many aviation businesses, flying schools and catering facilities (http://www.cotswoldairport.com).
